Too often accountants are too busy to help, and bookkeepers can't deliver the same level of expertise that would help business owners to make well-informed decisions in real time.

Meet Boyce Kehler, CPA

Hey there, I'm Boyce, the man behind the numbers at Kehler Accounting.

I've spent over a decade in the wonderful world of accounting. Why, you ask?

My journey started with an interest in economics. However, I wasn't keen on just doing research at a big institution, I wanted to actually help people. Accounting presented itself as a tool that I could use to help everyday people in the economy. So I started studying, and proceeded all the way through to the CPA designation eventually.

Alongside my studies, I knew I needed to get some real work experience. I started with the building blocks of bookkeeping, which some people might call drudgery, which motivated me to quickly work on developing more efficient systems to make the drudgery go quicker and produce easy to understand results.

This is what I enjoy the most, creating and maintaining systems that provide clear and useful information, helping people make good decisions and achieve their goals. I started Kehler Accounting with a desire to make deep CPA expertise available to small business contractors and service professionals specifically, without costing an arm and a leg.

Enough about work, let me share a bit about my life outside of spreadsheets. I am blessed to be the husband of Arianna, and we have one daughter. We enjoy serving at church, hiking, kayaking, tending the garden, and reading good books. In fact, I enjoy reading so much I also dabble in audiobook recording, and that's an invigorating challenge!
